Star of the week

At preschool, each kid gets to construct a poster board with things on it that tell others about them. Each poster board will hang on the wall for two weeks so that it helps the kids to get to know each other better. Mia was really excited about being able to have her poster board hang up in the classroom. To help her remember this event, I took a picture.


On her poster board she put pictures of her friends, cousins, family, when she was a baby and toddler, when she was doing crafts (since she LOVES doing crafts!!!!), a spiral art picture that she drew, a picture of Rapunzel that she colored in (since she loves princesses), a picture where she is holding a chicken in Dime Box, a picture of her holding watermelon (one of her favorite fruits) and a picture of the packaging for cheese fondue. That girl loves cheese fondue and requested to eat that for her birthday last year!

It's neat to see Mia growing so much, yet it reminds me that she will be in kindergarten this fall and that makes me sad. Now school is still for fun, but in just a few months it will be the real deal. Anyhow, I thought Mia might enjoy reading about this someday, so I wanted to jot it down.
