Ally's new carseat

Ever since Mia got her booster, Ally has been asking relentlessly when it's her turn to get one as well. I kept telling her that she'll need to eat a ton of vegetables and fruits so that she can grow big and tall, which she wasn't too excited to hear.

Two weeks ago, when I took her to the doctor because she was sick, they weighed and measured her. It was then that I realized that she can move to a booster. Once I told her the news, she was beaming from ear to ear. She picked out her booster (she wanted a purple one, but there are none available in that color, so she picked out this gray, black and white one) and was very proud to have a say in all this. She asked several times a day when it was finally arriving, because she just couldn't wait to see it and sit in it. When it arrived, we took it out of its packaging and she insisted on sitting in it, even though it was not installed yet. Then she did a bunch of pretend play in it until Papa installed it that evening. Needless to say, she is one happy camper.

Every time we get in the car, she still makes sure I know that she is in a new booster. Sweet Ally!
